Contracting party
You contract with Michael Andrews, sole trader (ABN 68 568 140 206), trading as Redmont Technologies. Redmont Technologies is a trading name, not a company.
Project enquiries and notices: michael@redmonttechnologies.com.
Scope and deliverables
Scope, deliverables, price, timing and inclusions are set out in your written quote, proposal or statement of work. If there is any inconsistency, the signed or accepted quote prevails over general marketing material.
Project commencement
Work begins after you accept the quote and any required initial payment clears, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Preliminary setup (for example account configuration or onboarding requests) may begin after payment; this does not remove your statutory rights or the voluntary change-of-mind guarantee below where it applies.
Your responsibilities
You will provide timely access to content, approvals, systems and people needed for delivery; respond within reasonable timeframes; and ensure information you supply is accurate and you have rights to use it.
Timelines and dependencies
Timelines depend on scope, your responsiveness and third-party dependencies. Indicative dates in a quote are estimates, not guarantees, unless expressly stated as fixed milestones in writing.
Deposits and instalments
Payment amounts and schedule (deposit, balance or instalments) are shown in your quote and at checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
Five-business-day change-of-mind guarantee
Redmont Technologies offers a full refund of your initial project payment if you change your mind within five (5) business days.
The cancellation period begins on the first business day following receipt of your initial payment, whether that payment is a deposit or the full project price.
Qualifying cancellations must be requested in writing by emailing michael@redmonttechnologies.com.
A qualifying cancellation will result in a full refund of your initial project payment, including where preliminary development work has commenced.
The five-business-day period applies once per project and does not restart when subsequent instalments or balance payments are made.
For this policy, business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays observed in Victoria, Australia.
Approved refunds will be processed promptly to the original payment method, subject to payment-provider processing times.
This voluntary guarantee is additional to, and does not limit, any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellation after the voluntary window
Cancellations requested after the change-of-mind period are handled under the quote, these terms and applicable law. Fees for work performed may apply as set out in your quote or as agreed in writing.
Scope changes and revisions
Changes outside the agreed scope require a written variation (updated quote or change order) before additional work is performed.
Revision rounds included in scope are stated in your quote; additional revisions may be charged at agreed rates.
Intellectual property and licences
Unless your quote states otherwise, upon full payment of agreed fees we grant you a licence to use deliverables for your business purposes. We retain ownership of pre-existing materials, tools and know-how.
Third-party components remain subject to their licence terms.
Third-party services and ongoing costs
Hosting, domains, SaaS subscriptions, SMS, payment fees and similar third-party costs are your responsibility unless explicitly included in the quote.
Hosting and maintenance
Ongoing hosting, support and maintenance after delivery are not included unless stated in your quote or a separate support agreement.
Acceptance and delivery
We may deliver work in stages. You are deemed to have accepted a stage when you use it in production, approve it in writing, or do not raise a written defect within the review period stated in your quote (if any).
Confidentiality and personal information
Each party will keep confidential information received from the other reasonably secure and use it only for the project.
Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy (/privacy).
Consumer guarantees
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee is limited (where permitted) to resupply of services or payment of the cost of resupply.
Subject to the ACL, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from project work except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Complaints and disputes
Contact michael@redmonttechnologies.com to raise a concern. We aim to resolve complaints in good faith.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, the parties agree to attempt mediation before court proceedings where reasonable.
Governing law
These Commercial Service Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to legal review. Courts in Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
