Who we are
This website is operated by Michael Andrews, sole trader (ABN 68 568 140 206), who trades publicly as Redmont Technologies. Redmont Technologies is a trading name, not a company. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Michael Andrews operating as Redmont Technologies.
Redmont Technologies is a founder-led digital systems studio based in Melbourne, Australia, working with businesses Australia-wide.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to give us and limited technical information generated when you use the site. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Project Inquiry form: full name, email address, business name, preferred service and project message (required); phone number, website URL and service-specific details (optional).
- General Enquiry form: name, phone number, business name and message (required); email address (optional).
- Agency partnership enquiries: contact name, agency name, work email and the services you want to outsource (required); agency website and project notes (optional).
- Quick Qualification flow: first name, last name, email address and your answers about what you want to improve, your biggest current problem and team size.
- Quotes and questionnaires: if you request a quote, we store your contact details, questionnaire answers, the quote we prepare, and the quote’s status (for example viewed, accepted or paid).
- Payments: if you pay online, our payment provider collects your card details directly. We receive payment status, amounts, and billing contact details, not your full card number.
- Project onboarding: after a paid engagement starts, we may collect operational details through a secure project link, such as business hours, services, staff availability, booking rules, website and integration context, and files you upload. Onboarding forms do not ask for passwords, API keys, recovery codes or card details.
- Technical information: page visits, referring campaign parameters (such as UTM tags), browser and device characteristics, and error diagnostics, described in the analytics and diagnostics sections below.
How we use information
We use personal information to review and respond to enquiries, recommend a suitable service, prepare quotes and proposals, process payments, deliver and support agreed project work, send related service communications, keep the website secure, and understand how the website performs.
We do not sell personal information.
Service providers we use
We use third-party service providers to operate the website and our business. They process information on our behalf to provide their services and are governed by their own privacy terms. They currently include:
- Vercel — website hosting and privacy-oriented website traffic analytics.
- Supabase — database and file storage for enquiries submitted through the qualification flow, quotes, onboarding information, uploaded files and first-party analytics events.
- Resend — delivery of enquiry notifications to us and confirmation emails to you.
- Google Workspace (Gmail) — our business email, including correspondence about enquiries, quotes and projects.
- Stripe — online payment processing for accepted quotes.
- Sentry — application error monitoring and limited error diagnostics.
- n8n — workflow automation that routes qualification enquiries and payment events to our internal systems.
- A hosted key-value store — short-lived rate-limiting records that protect forms from abuse, keyed by a one-way hash of your IP address rather than the address itself.
Overseas handling
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia. For example, error diagnostics are processed by Sentry in the United States. Other providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they or their sub-processors operate.
Website analytics and cookies
We use first-party analytics to understand how the website performs and to measure enquiry, quote and payment journeys. We store random visitor and browsing-session identifiers in first-party cookies and browser storage, together with first-touch campaign information (such as UTM parameters) when a link includes it.
The visitor identifier cookie lasts up to 90 days and the browsing-session cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. These identifiers are random values; they are not used to fingerprint your device. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement.
This website does not currently load third-party advertising pixels.
If advertising measurement tools are enabled after privacy review, this policy and our consent notices will be updated accordingly.
Error monitoring and diagnostics
We use Sentry to detect and investigate application errors. Error reports can include browser type, device characteristics, page path, timing and error details, and technical network metadata.
Sessions are not routinely recorded. When an error occurs, a sample of sessions (currently about 10%) may include a privacy-masked replay of the page interaction. All text and form inputs are masked and media is blocked in these replays, and we do not use them to collect enquiry content.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access to stored enquiries, quotes and onboarding data is restricted to authenticated operator accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to deliver services, maintain records we are legally required to keep, and resolve disputes.
When information is no longer needed for a legitimate purpose and no legal retention obligation applies, we delete or de-identify it.
Our current retention targets (subject to verification, owner approval and legal review) are: unsuccessful enquiries — about 12 months after last meaningful contact; expired or unaccepted quotes — about 12 months after expiry or last meaningful activity; completed project records — about 5 years where applicable law allows; onboarding files uploaded for a project — about 12 months after project completion unless ongoing support requires longer; financial and payment records — for the statutory period required for tax and accounting; technical logs and analytics — the shortest practical period needed to operate and secure the website.
Age alone does not automatically mean we delete a record. We also consider active projects, unpaid balances, legal holds, disputes, and linked financial records.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing michael@redmonttechnologies.com.
We aim to respond within 30 days.
We may need to verify your identity, and some records (such as payment records) may need to be kept to meet legal obligations.
Information in backups, email systems, payment providers and error monitoring tools may persist for a period according to those providers’ retention settings.
Customer communications
We send emails and messages related to your enquiry, quote, payment, project delivery and support using the contact details you provide.
Transactional project email is sent from Redmont Technologies (hello@redmonttechnologies.com) with replies directed to michael@redmonttechnologies.com, once live sending is enabled.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how we handle personal information, contact Michael Andrews at michael@redmonttechnologies.com or +61 412 783 227. We will review your concern and respond.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

This website links to some third-party websites and demonstrations. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
